BIRRN book im reading right now- 002

ALL of these books i just recently purchased :) you can see i LOVE Sophie Kinsella style (Y)

Well i have started Chasing Harry Winston and like it. its not great and it not bad


well its a bit better than good. and apparently they are going to make it into a film . i love reading a book before it becomes a film :)


well the book is based around 3 best friends one a rich, beautiful, meaneater. planning to get married by the end of the year.The other a successful, hot BF and upset. and finally the other is recently dumped and is trying to get any man out there to sleep with her.

Peach on the body?

FINALLY got Well Dressed! :) After Everyone raving it.At the MAC counter i think they had an old one because the powder was white! But good that my one isn't:) When i apply it i cant really see it but Friends say they can :)

At the counter i tried it with Style, and Fleur Power on top and looked soo Pretty !
I may just have to get them too :)


After MAC, we went into The Body Shop and saw they had ALL of their Body Butter on display:) The body Butters have got to be my favourite product from the TBS and fav moisturiser!

Well they had a great offer on and had three limited edition BB. So i picked up the peach and LOVE it! it smells like peach but the smell isn't too strong:)

Miami Beet - Opi

Finally starting ot get more OPI's! (Y)

This is Miami Beet, it came out with the South Beach collection and i am only just getting around to it now :) but here it is. :)

it is almost a wine-ey , aubergine colour. The flash makes it look more pink yet it is more purpley :)

Amber Rose

My mum just came back from London the other night and i asked her to pop into Boots and this is what she gott :)

I asked her specifically to get me the new Maybelline Colour Sensation Lipstick in Amber Rose as all the make up world in the UK has been talking about it.
I could have gotten in in summer but it was as popular so i passed but now that i have it i Love it! i tried to take pictures but they didn't turn out too well :/


But as well as that i asked her to get me a big tub of Sodo Crem as it is a miracle! From spots to sunburn i go through this fast! ;)


And finally Carmex. I tried my first Carmex in Summer 09, and am nearly finished! i Love it, it really does make my lips soft after using it vigorously for a few days!

UPDATE: I AM SOOO SORRY I HAVEN'T BEEN BLOGGING FOR A WHILE I JUST HAVE NOT BEEN FELLING IT. AND HAVEN'T REALLY BOUGHT ANY MAKE UP RECENTLY. And have been doing nothing but tanning and swimming for the past two weekends ,as the sun has been really out! :)

BIRRN book im reading right now- 001

So i thought i would start a new regular post. Its on the books /book I'm reading right now.

After reading Bubblegarms blog a few days a go she talked about the two books she was reading at this moment and i thought why not. I do believe she has made hers a tag so everyone who reads this do it too ! :)

So my first book is

Model by Cherly Diamond.

This book is soo good. It is about the author who, a 16 year old girl, is suddenly in the model life in New York. The book is about her finding it hard to find bookings, guys and annoying competitors.

I only have about 20 pages too go so i hope to Finnish it by tonight. i do recommend this book ,if you would like to know more about the model world and what they do on a daily basis.

Next is

L.A Candy By Lauren Conrad

As i had said in a previous post i idolise Lauren from her style to her show, well ex show- the Hills.

After BubbleGarn featuring this in her book post , i decide to grad it yesterday and have already read half! I am addicted.

In a way it portrays her life but in a more PG13 way, other than how you saw her on the Hills, and i do believe her Audrina is portrayed in the boook by Scarlett herr BFF.

So i will update you as soon as i start a new book. Please if you have any reccomendations about books in the same coloumn as these pls reccomend them . As when i love a book i get addicted and cant stop reading it! :)

Cherries in the snowww

I got this lippie in summer and have been WAY to scared to wear it up unto today! its bad i know this summer i got quite a few pornstar pinks, laveenders and peach colours that i have just been to scared to wear! :)

But here it is , Revlons Cherries in the Snow.

I had first heard of it when laura from lollipop26, had talked about it back in
May i think. I had written it down mentally to remember to get it imediatly when summer in th UK had come around.

It was something like 7 pounds and is this gorgeous rasberry/ fuschia pink. Now laura had said that this would be a lipstick must have as it would suit ANY skin tone. I have always wanted a pinky/red, to spice up a look for night.


Now today i was sick and was SOO bored so i decided to play around and create a smokey brown pink lippie look. Now i must agree with Laura , as i do deffinetally think this would suit most or even all skintones.

It went on soo smoothly and creammy. And allthough it is a shoking colour i can tone it down by using The Body Shop's Yes yes yes lip butter.

So yes i would Deffinetally recomend this colour as it will suit you and can be versatille.

So i thought i would get on the bandaggon with everyone talking about their perfumes :)

As you can see i have a few that i have collected in the past 3 years and while to some it may be a few but to me its only a start.

I am not a person that sticks to only one scent and like a specific scent all the time.

But the smells i have the most of are florals and very fruity ones as they always make me smile when i smell them :)

My advice for someone like me who like to switch their smells around would be to try and get 30ml bottles first as it will probably be impossible to Finnish them let alone a 50ml or 100ml! :)

well that may be just me:D

But up top are the four perfumes i have used the most .But i do hope to soon include Dior Miss Cherie, Michael Kors signature scent and Vera Wang princess.

Mascara test -1 l'oreal vs. Mybelline!

So after purchasing these two mascaras this summer i thought i would do a test with them to try and tell which really does what it says and gives the best results in my opinion! :O)

SO first mascara i will be testing is the Maybelline Lash Stiletto. This mascara claims to be the ultimate length mascara and give black patent shine. I do love the packaging and concept of this mascara the way it is shaped in a stiletto and claims to give patent shine ! :)

Next is l'oreals voluminous mascara. This mascara claims to give 5x more volume without clumping and be a conditioning formula. Lots of gurus such as laura aka lollipop26 have been boasting about this claiming it is a complete dupe for YSL's Fauc Cills ,asca- which i love but have run out of :((

So first we have L'oreals Voluminous mascara on the Left eye. this mascara seems to go on nicely but goes all over my lid when i put it on .

i do like the length and the volume it gives without beeing too clumpy after about 4 coats!!

soo (Y) thumbs up , for what it claims to doo. so 5/5!

Then Maybelline's lash Stiletto on the right eye. this mascara gives nice length but i do find it quite painful as the bristles always seem to catch my eye as applying! ://

But the mascara does seem to give a nice length as it claims. although i would not consider it ULTIMATE length it does give a subtle length. so all in all for what it claims 3/5

Heres a photo with my eyes wearing both. L'oreals on the left and MAybelline on the right. I would have to say that i prefer L'oreals as it gives off more lenghth AND volume which is what i like ! :)

While i prefer L'oreal's i do like Maybelline's as well.

i would definitely say that this is a mascara which is good for the day.

it doesn't give of as much volume just length really. :)

But all in all i would have to say that both have become my favourites and had bought a backup even of voluminous for when i runn out! :)

i do prefer applying the maybelline one first then doing a generous coat of L'oreals on top then MAybelline again ! :)

To get the look i want , as after applying the voluminous it does tend to clump and by using the lash stiletto on top it un clumps tmy lashs because of the spaced out bristles! :)))

late night shoppin'

So after just starting school and coming back from summer with a bit of spare change, well Spare change i thought i felt that pampering would be the best possible way forward :D

So me and the bf's went out and spent the doshhh :)

So we started off in Cotton on; one of my Favourite stores in all time! I think it is originally based in Australia but has just opened 3 stores in Hong Kong and around Asia. Now almost EVERYONE you know wheres their clothes. I really would recommend you guys check the store out if ever your in Asia or Aus. Theres almost Never i walk out without seeing clothes that i would love to get.. so on with the purchases...

1. A gorge simple black dress, -which goes in at the bust. It has pretty detailing around the bust but you cant really see it on the photos with some pretty beige lace around the bust and bottom. This was on sale from $ 330 HK to $ 150 Hk! bargain!

2. Black braid belt- $50!

3. Next was this very loose low cut t-shirt.- i love the design on the front and think it will go quite nicely with a short pencil skirt as it is so loose. I will have to wear a strapy top underneath as it is soo loose around. $99 HK!

4. Two very basic v-neck t-shirts - got them mainly for running as they re so soft and almost have a dri -fit feeling to themm:) 2 for $99- originally $99 each :)


5. Simple casual washed out polyester shorts- these are for a very casual day at home , or would be great for the Beach! :) $ 99HK

6. detailed skirt- a basic skirt will be good for again a casual day in :) $75 from $130 HK!

7. Peace sign top- i will probs wear this as a PJ topp :) i love it its really funn and sofft :)

So after Cotton i had spent about $600 something dollars, i do feel that is a reason able price considering how much i had bought :) so i STILL had more and decided to head over to Steve MAdden as they had some great new shoes :)

1. BOOGLE - studded suede shoes in Taupe , they also had black but i like this colour :)-

these i was told are one of Steve Maddens Best sellers!

and when i hear some good news like that i had to get them :)

i love them, they are like gladiators with a more punk-ish twist:)

Just be warned that if you want to order them online dont get your actual size as they are very big sizes in this style. i am normally a 37 EU but in this case i was a 38 :? These weere $650 HK

2. BALIAA- Next werer these gorg black purple and cream sandles- they look kind of tribalish to mee:) they also had them in white but i tohught black would be easier to wear:) these were $250 HK from $$445!

So this was quite a long posttt... but just though id show you some new things i had gotten this week as i havent rally been posting this week :/ naughty naughty ! :)

Mac anyone?

So today i went to MAC and used my free makeover:) the pics below are my end results and FOTD's :)

The MA asked me to choose a eyeshadow to use from the Love That Look collection.

I ended up choosing the Smoke and diamonds as i don't have a eyeshadow quite like it yet.

She then chose two other colours that complemented it and created a really pretty smokey look.

The end result as it makes my blue eyes really 'pop' because she used such as similar silver colour as my eyes a highlight . Although the photos don't really justify the end result i am pleased :)

yay MAC invatation!:D

S o yesterday when i went to the mail box i found this invite adressessed to me to come to a new opening of a store in Admiralty and to promote their new collection Love that Look:)

i was sooo excited to be invited that i just HAD to take photos of proof:)
So im on my way there today, to have a 15 min free make up lesson with those eyeshadow:) and the best part; you get a small free gift! :)
